The Auckland study group is confirmed!

We would be meeting with the study group participants at 188 Hobson Street, Auckland CBD each morning for group travel arrangements to the host centres.

S.T.E.A.M. STORY CLUB @ THE TINKER YARD (4 to 8 years old)

Fostering creativity and celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics through children picture books. For 4 to 8 years old Connecting books with hands-on activities can help to enhance children's reading and also inspire them to create and explore.  Children love picture books.  What better way to introduce them to S.T.E.A.M. activities than through a good book?  At The Tinker Yard, we will select the perfect book that will be a springboard for children to delve into a world where they can tinker, build or just mess around with ideas.   Sessions will include a reading or revisit of the book, free exploration, and guided tinkering.
