Programme Offering at Jalan Kembangan

Play at The Tinker Yard is natural, child-led, unhurried and respectful of the needs of children. The play space is intentionally designed and prepared to offer children beautiful, open-ended materials and experiences full of possibility in an environment that serves as the 3rd teacher - one that nurtures exploration, discovery and creativity.  We aim to inspire a love for learning through play in children.

Sensory & messy play rocks at The Tinker Yard. We are one of very few play spaces in Singapore that fully embraces sensory & messy play.  We offer both drop-off & parent accompanied play sessions.

Children love picture books. What better way to introduce them to S.T.E.A.M. acitvities than through a good book! Connecting books with hands-on activities can help to enhance children's reading and also inspire them to create and explore.

Each unit will start with a reading of selected literature and thinking cap questions followed by a series of S.T.E.A.M. challenges based on the theme. Children will have easy access to a wide selection of open-ended materials and research materials to support learning and working as a team to explore, investigate and come up with solutions to the challenges.

This is a drop-off programme.
Classes run on Saturday, 10am to 11.30am.

Limited spots are available hence early registration is advised. Please register online (at least 3 days in advance) at https://goo.gl/MFE37d.

We will share recipes that promote healthy eating and provide ingredients and cooking tools. The children will be introduced to different tools used in cooking & baking, explore various ways of food preparation and work cooperatively to complete the recipes from scratch.

They will also receive soft copies of recipes with clear instructions and ingredient measurements, and a portion of the healthy & delicious dishes to take home.
