For 4 to 8 years old Connecting books with hands-on activities can help to enhance children's reading and also inspire them to create and explore. Children love picture books. What better way to introduce them to S.T.E.A.M. activities than through a good book? At The Tinker Yard, we will select the perfect book that will be a springboard for children to delve into a world where they can tinker, build or just mess around with ideas. Sessions will include a reading or revisit of the book, free exploration, and guided tinkering. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to view a sample list of books that would be used.
