We visited an outdoor kindergarten in Norway on 7 June 2016 and were warmly welcomed by the children at the kindergarten. 

Upon our arrival at the kindergarten, the study group leader Alyna was greeted by a couple of children at the school. One of them asked if we were from Singapore. They had been told that a small group of educators was visiting from Singapore. They took Alyna's hands and led her around the school grounds.

S.T.E.A.M. STORY CLUB @ THE TINKER YARD (4 to 8 years old)

Fostering creativity and celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics through children picture books. For 4 to 8 years old Connecting books with hands-on activities can help to enhance children's reading and also inspire them to create and explore.  Children love picture books.  What better way to introduce them to S.T.E.A.M. activities than through a good book?  At The Tinker Yard, we will select the perfect book that will be a springboard for children to delve into a world where they can tinker, build or just mess around with ideas.   Sessions will include a reading or revisit of the book, free exploration, and guided tinkering.
