Reflective Teaching Workshop | Singapore

The Learning Caravan is hosting this workshop in March 2018. This is suitable for early childhood educators and centre leaders.



Reflective teaching is about more than just summarizing what happened in the classroom.

Join us at this workshop to get a deeper understanding of reflective teaching.



[ Workshop Objective ]
To provide a learning experience through which participants are able to appreciate and apply becoming a Reflective Practitioner through understanding the what, how and why of Reflective Practice

[ Approach ]
Through a series of activities, debrief, short lectures and discussions, providing not only intellectual stimulation but also first-hand experience to deepen learning, conversation and creativity about Reflective Practice.

[ Facilitator: Moses Sia ]
Moses describes himself as an educator at large and a learner at heart, he has nearly 25 years of experience in the education field having spent his initial 15 years with the Singapore Education Ministry as a secondary school teacher, then a educational technology officer and finally as a school leader in primary school. Most recently, he headed Stamford School, a K-12 private school in Bandung, Indonesia.

As an independent consultant, he has worked with pre-service teachers, in-service teachers from kindergarten to tertiary institutions, as well as facilitated workshops for the young to the old in creativity, art, pedagogy and the use of educational technology, including working with in-service teacher on selective practice. He is also the author and illustrator of Creative Cool Cat - A Guide to TIM-BUG-Tool, a book about creativity which is based on the Torrance Incubation Model. Moses is also an Associate with Emergenetics, a psychometric tool.
