EC Educators Networking Night (Singapore) - December 2016


Get together as a community to chill, reflect, share, learn and be inspired. These networking nights will be held at our studio at Waterloo Centre.

We will begin the evening with some games followed by sharing of ideas on ways to create engaging play spaces. Network with fellow colleagues from other preschools during the break. Refreshments & light snacks would be provided. After the break, we will get hands on exploring loose parts and the endless play possibilities loose parts offer.

S.T.E.A.M. STORY CLUB @ THE TINKER YARD (4 to 8 years old)

Fostering creativity and celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics through children picture books. For 4 to 8 years old Connecting books with hands-on activities can help to enhance children's reading and also inspire them to create and explore.  Children love picture books.  What better way to introduce them to S.T.E.A.M. activities than through a good book?  At The Tinker Yard, we will select the perfect book that will be a springboard for children to delve into a world where they can tinker, build or just mess around with ideas.   Sessions will include a reading or revisit of the book, free exploration, and guided tinkering.
